A bypass road over the railway near this crossing is under construction and will open in 2022, therefore the crossing will be permanently closed. This crossing is the main link between Peterborough and Whittlesey and causes disruption to traffic when the crossing is lowered. I hope to return here for a second time to take pictures and more videos before the bypass is opened and crossing closed.
