The Photoshop team is working very hard to improve the performance of the application and they are doing a lot of under the hood improvements that are not as visible. It is better to get a faster more stable Photoshop than some flashy but less useful new features, right?

The Photoshop team is focusing on helping new users by making Photoshop more intuitive without confusing or annoying Photoshop veterans.

There are a lot of exciting new features in the pipeline and also Photoshop is planned to become cross-platform, making it work on iPads in 2019.
