We explain briefly here how to carry out a survey with DADI DTM152M Total Station using distances and angles only. You will need the coordinates of your instrument station and backsight to process your field data so make sure you record them.
Set up your total station on your instrument station then power it on. After bisecting your backsight target, set the total station orientation to angle 0 using the OSET function. After which measurements can begin. You have to record your angles (horizontal and vertical) and slope distances of each point measured on site.
Then use the coordinates of your instrument station and backsight to process your survey in the office so you can have the coordinates of all your points.
