GTA 3 - Vigilante Mission (Shoreside Vale)

Walkthrough for Side Mission "Vigilante" in Shoreside Vale from Grand Theft Auto 3 for PC. Each city side mission will grant you 2 police bribes delivered to your hideout (safe-house), which means there will a total of 6 police bribes.

Useful Tips:
1) Vigilante side mission does NOT need to be consecutive. You can stop it at any time and play later. The threat counter will remain active while you save your game.

2) Before starting Vigilante Mission, make sure to grab some powerful weapons. You will find some nice free hidden weapons in Staunton Island (Shotgun, Sniper, M16) or buy them from Ammu-Nation or Phil's Weapons Storage location (Rocket Launcher, M16).

3) Always try the PIT maneuver or get in the front of the vehicle to block it, so the driver can get out of the car.

4) If your car is damaged, change it very fast before it will explode. You can find a police car at the police station (usually they are locked), or random on the streets.

5) If your car already exploded, you have 60 seconds to try to make 2 stars wanted level, so the police cars can spawn near you and steal one. You can also use the cops bribe to reduce your wanted level after that.

6) You can repair your car when you are near your safe-house

Note: Difficulty will be increased in the other cities.
