MUZAFFARNAGAR TO MEERUT CITY JUNCTION FULL RAIL JOURNEY - RAILFANNING

This is the video of full railway journey of Muzaffarnagar - Khatauli - Meerut City Junction section of the Delhi - Meerut - Saharanpur rail route of Delhi division under Northern Railways zone. The video is created on board 19326 Amritsar Indore Weekly Express at ultra wide focus mode using 48 mega pixel lens of Samsung Galaxy M30s and video is subsequently produced using GoPro's Quik app. This rail line runs parallel to Delhi - Haridwar - Mana National Highway (NH 58). Now new Meerut Delhi expressway and eastern dedicated freight corridor will intersect this rail section in coming days. In this section, Meerut City Junction serve as a junction point to
(a) Ghaziabad via Modinagar,
(b) Aligarh Junction via Hapur, Bulandshahar, Khurja, and
(c) Saharanpur Junction via Muzaffarnagar.


The Delhi - Meerut - Saharanpur rail route is the most important route of the Indian Railways network in western Uttar Pradesh (also known as "Sugar Belt" because of sugarcane production). Many trains such as Shatabdi Express, JanShatabdi Express, AC superfast trains, Superfast trains and other Mail Express trains pass this section. Many other passenger and local EMU trains also pass on this route. Many important stations also lie on this rail route.
