Dear KS fans,
Because of some very unfortunate circumstances, my entire collection of KS work has now sadly been removed from Spotify and is in the process of being taken down from all other streaming platforms as well. Despite the fact that it took years of work and that I had planned years ago to have all my KS work available on Spotify/streaming platforms for you to enjoy, Katawa Shoujo is under a Creative Commons license, a detail I overlooked and can only blame myself for overlooking. The composer, Sebastien Skaf, reached out to me, very displeased saying I decided to "profit off of KS against the team's wishes." A hurtful remark because I never intended to release my work for the sake of profit. The main objective for all this work is to pay tribute to the beautiful OST and to offer something to the KS community, out of passion and interest in this niche gem of a game. In any case, I respect the creator's decisions, but I've also lost respect for the composer whom I used to look up to. I would've been more than satisfied if my work remained available non-commercially somehow, but there was no chance of negotiation and I'm left powerless while my work gets taken down. I'm deeply saddened that this 10 year journey came down to this, but in the end, I'm still proud of all the covers I've made and grateful that so many of you tagged along for the ride. Fortunately my covers are still going to be on YouTube (hopefully). But for now, my apologies that they are no longer on streaming platforms as so many of you have requested. As always, my utmost thanks to all who have supported my KS piano covers.

Today is a special day because it marks the 10 year anniversary of my very first Katawa Shoujo cover upload (August 29th 2012). Many things come and go within a decade's time, but working on Katawa Shoujo piano arrangements have remained a constant for me. It started in 2012 when I was first introduced to the visual novel and was immediately attracted to the soundtrack. As I continued to make KS piano covers, the process became increasingly enjoyable and at some point I told myself that I would one day cover every track from the OST.

Now, 47 KS piano covers later, I'm happy to say that I've achieved this goal. On top of that, I've also written piano sheets accurate to the way I've performed every cover (except J.S. Bach's Sarabande from BWV1010), and compiled all my KS work into 5 individual albums that are available (unfortunately not anymore) on all major streaming platforms. Covering/arranging, writing sheet music, designing album art, and compiling/distributing my piano solo albums of the entire KS soundtrack have been a real passion project throughout the years.

This 2+ hour video is a compilation/medley of every single one of my KS covers in chronological order and is by far the longest video I have on this channel. You'll find each piece's corresponding album on the bottom left, and the date of recording at the bottom right corner for nostalgic reasons. It's like a personal video diary, and watching everything from the beginning feels like a time machine that slowly unfolds my KS cover-ing journey throughout the years.

So, to all my KS fans and those who have continuously shown so much support for my KS covers, this giant KS piano medley is for you. I'm very happy with how everything turned out, and I'm so glad that all of my KS covers are now out there on the internet for people to listen to and enjoy. As always, thank you all for the continuous support – it truly means a lot.
