Graflex Speed Graphic Restoration Part 1 (Evaluation)

In this video, I evaluate a Graflex Anniversary Speed Graphic purchased from eBay. The camera is known as a "Press Camera" and was popular in the 1940s through the 1970s. Cameras like this were used by press photographers most notably, Weegee in New York City. Now they are sought after by photographers who want a relatively inexpensive way to get into large format photography.

This particular camera has been heavily modified and neglected leading to its poor condition. I will attempt to refurbish and repair the camera enough to get it operating again as a camera. This restoration will not restore the camera to a like-new condition, but enough to be able to use the camera as intended.

Please note that I used no script and the video is repleat with "ummms" and "ahhhhs." So, not a professional YouTuber.
