Fire:
Beatriz Bonilla "B.B." da Costa is Fire, a Brazilian super model turned government agent turned superhero after an accident granted her the ability to generate green flames. Originally created for the Super Friends comic book, she was introduced into mainstream continuity after the Crisis on Infinite Earths. She has been a member of the Global Guardians, Justice League International, Super Buddies and Checkmate.

Fire first appeared in Super Friends #25 (October 1979), and debuted in the mainstream DC Universe in DC Comics Presents #46 (June 1982). She was created by E. Nelson Bridwell and Ramona Fradon.

Ice:
Ice, also known as Icemaiden, is a female super-hero with the ability of cryokinesis. Despite her shy and reserved personality, she is an extremely powerful metahuman. There was a traumatic event in her childhood in Norway where she accidentally killed her own father. Her best friend is Fire and her most regular romantic interest is Guy Gardner. She has been involved with the Justice League, Global Guardians and Cadre. Ice was created by Keith Giffen, J.M. DeMatteis and Kevin Maguire, first appearing in Justice League International #12. (1988)
