Zij was tevens de eerste Nederlandse luchtmacht vlieger die sinds de 2e wereldoorlog een oorlogshandeling uitvoerde, door twee MK82 bommen op Servische tanks te werpen. Tegenwoordig is ze 737 gezagvoerder bij Transavia.

Interview (in Dutch) with the first operational female F16 pilot in the world, Manja Blok. She was also the first Dutch airforce pilot to conduct an act of war since worldwar 2, by throwing two MK82 bombs at Serb tanks. Currently she is a 737 captain for Transavia airlines.
