43007 is now in Mexico and after an incident on level crossing has sustained damage. Fortunately no one was injured. On initial impact the front bogie on the power car leaves the rails for a brief moment.

It is now back in revenue earning service in Mexico albeit with the damage still on show.

We were lucky enough to travel on the final timetabled Intercity 125 service in the UK with lead powercar 43007 so also included is some footage from the final day in service.

Final service of scheduled cross country running using 8 car HST at 125mph
