The Bosom of the Party Is Our Home
Now the Korean people are in a great joy and excitement, greeting the 70th anniversary of the glorious Workers´ Party of Korea.
The great WPK has been kept dearly in the minds of the Korean people. The Korean people entrust their destiny and future to the WPK. They trust and follow the Party, calling it mother. It is the reality of Korea that the Party and the people are linked with one bloodline and form a harmonious whole of large family which cannot live apart even a moment.
The stories that happened in the days of preparation of the National Meeting of Joint Organizations of the Korean Children´s Union to be held in celebration of its 66th founding anniversary, a grand festival of the children, are still touching the heartstrings of the Korean people. Jang Un Suk who was a primary school girl of the Sungjondae Branch School of the Josan Secondary School in Rason City had no parents. But she had the great honour to be chosen as a delegate to the meeting. Her grandmother was very grateful for the love shown to her granddaughter and said in deep emotion: "The Party has enabled you without parents to study as happily as others and now invites you to Pyongyang as a delegate. Respected Kim Jong Un! My granddaughter is not an orphan any more. You are the father of my granddaughter."
Such exciting impressive scenes were seen in all parts of the country where the children were found. Uam-ri in Rason City is at the northeastern tip of the Democratic People´s Republic of Korea. A delegate was also selected in the Thori Branch School of the Uam Secondary School with a few children in the village called Thori in the remote place. When Hwang Son Hyang, a primary school girl of the Thori Branch School was selected as a delegate, her father, an ordinary worker, said in excitement: "I have never thought that my daughter living at the end of the country with few visitors would participate in the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children´s Union. Indeed, the warm love of respected Kim Jong Un is shown to our small Thori village as well."
There is a shade on the land, but there is no shade, no isolated place in the bosom of love of the WPK. The Korean people do not think of their existence apart from the bosom of the Party and of the worth of life apart from its trust and love.
Voices of thanks that the bosom of the Party is our home are loud in all parts of the country--the Unha Scientists Street and the Wisong Scientists Residential Quarters, home of scientists, the apartment houses for educators in the capital city Pyongyang, the Rungna People´s Pleasure Ground, the People´s Open-Air Ice Rink, the Munsu Water Park and the Mirim Riding Club filled with people´s laughters and the farm city Jangchon. The WPK taking warm care of the entire people of the country with responsibility for their destiny is the genuine guide of the people and their true patron.
