The homophonic texture is the one we're most familiar with: a melody with chordal accompaniment. There are an infinite variety of ways to do this, not only in the variety of instruments you can use but in the way those instruments are arranged.

We'll start by talking about what the texture is, take a look at an example from Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor, and then put the theory to use by actually applying the texture to the main theme from Breath of the Wild.
