Day 4 (24.03.2025) of my Scandinavia journey turned out to be a little different than planned — and honestly, it was much needed.

After days full of travel and exploring, I woke up in beautiful Ballstad, a charming fishing village in the heart of the Lofoten Islands. However, strong Arctic winds and an official weather warning meant it was safer to stay indoors.

Instead of long hikes or adventures, I embraced a slow travel day — resting at the cozy harbor hostel, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, and taking short walks around Ballstad, where dramatic skies and crashing waves made even a simple stroll unforgettable.

1. Strong wind warnings and wild coastal weather
2. Cozy rest day at the harbor hostel in Ballstad

4. Watching the sea and sky dance in the storm
