MHA reacts to Aizawa’s Brother as Dazai Osamu / Part 1/? / AU in Desc / 2X SPEED

To be clear, I don’t know anything about Dazai’s original family and this is completely from my imagination.


AU explanation:

When Osamu and Shouta were younger, they lived together as brothers. They were fairly close, however there was always a disconnect due to Osamu’s pessimistic outlook, complex personality, dark humour and detatchment, and self-destructive tendencies.

When Osamu was 14 (Shouta was 22 I believe), he attempted to commit suicide.

Osamu was then treated and taken care of by Mori. Mori had lied to the Aizawa family that Osamu had died, as his doctor.

Mori then took Osamu in as his guardian and changed his name to Osamu Dazai, from Osamu Aizawa, as to hide his real identity.

The storyline of BSD is overall the same from then on.



Details:

—Yokohama is isolated from the rest of Japan/the world and thought to be ruled by criminals/villains, due to the lack of heroes.

—Yokohama was first closed off when quirks started appearing.

—Only born citizens are permitted to enter Yokohama, unless they are a special case/have special permission (like Osamu).

—Abilities are stronger than quirks and had started appearing way before quirks.

—No one outside of Yokohama knows almost anything about it.

—Osamu was born with an ability, not a quirk. This was possible because his mother was born in Yokohama originally, but left. She never told anyone though. However, his father was not born in Yokohama, so Shouta was born with a quirk.

—Ik that abilities are random and not genetically similar but Idc

—The reason Osamu was able to get into Yokohama was because when he was found by Mori, Mori was not in Yokohama. Mori had moved Osamu to Yokohama after the fact.

—Shouta often thinks of his brother, and if he could have saved him.
