An introduction to the series and an overview of the completed project which is to create an Xs and Os game (Tic-Tac-Toe) with three different game modes. The first mode is where you can play against an opposing player by passing the phone or iPad between two players to take turns. The second mode is where you can challenge your phone and see who comes out top and the third mode uses the multi-peer connectivity framework to pit two players against each other, each running the application on their own own device.

We also start the series by creating a new Xcode project using Xcode 14 but make sure that users with iOS 15 installed will still be able to play the game. We then create models for our game and develop a view that will be presented with the players launch the game, asking them to choose a game type or mode.
