$200 to TAHITI?! French Bee [Premium Blue] A350 Papeete to San Francisco

Hello and welcome to France’s best budget airline!

Today we will be flying French Bee from the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia to San Francisco. This is one of their busiest routes as the plane starts and ends it’s journey in Paris Orly and uses San Francisco as a stop to pick up fuel and passengers. The flight was about 50% French and 50% Americans which tells me that the market of San Francisco draws in the American crowd they’d like to keep the planes at full capacity.

French Bee doesn’t have a business class cabin, instead optimizing passenger counts by making the cabin all economy with a few rows of premium economy, which is what we will be trying out today. I’m curious what your thoughts are on this new-to-me airline and if you think the $200 fare is worth it for the reduced services.
