Laos | Bus trip: Luang Prabang / ຫຼວງພະບາງ ------- Nong Khiaw / ຫນອງຂຽວ (老挝 ● 琅勃拉邦 --- 琅多)

Nong Khiaw is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Laos because of its breathtaking Karst limestone landscape with the walking & cycling routes and the mountain-hiking opportunities. In the past, the only good way to get there used to be by boat from Luang Prabang or Muang Khua, near the Vietnamese border. This is impossible anymore due to the construction of dams on the Nam Ou river since 2017.
With bus services within the province allowed, on May 7, I took the bus at Luang Prabang Northern bus station, and the bus fare is 40,000 Kip (4.4 USD). The north-bound bus ride is about 120 kilometer with 3 hours along the river valleys.

琅多是老挝最受欢迎的旅游目的地之一，这里有令人叹为观止的喀斯特石灰岩景观，有步行和骑自行车路线，还可以登山。以前到那里的好办法是从琅勃拉邦（Luang Prabang）或靠近越南边境的 Khua乘船前往。现在不可能了，因为自2017年以来在南欧江上修建有很多水坝。
省内客车运营恢复后，5月7日我在琅勃拉邦北站搭乘客车，车票是4万基普（32元）。沿着河谷一路北上120公里到琅多，大约要3个小时。
