Lightning Strike ⚡️| Large Format Landscape Photography | Analog Photography | Intrepid 8x10

I am back with a new Video from the field. This time I packed my Intrepid 8x10 camera along with some Zebra Dry Plates and revisited an abandoned stone mill quarry that impressed me with its history and shapes a couple of weeks ago. Glady it was not as hot as the previous time as it was completely cloudy when I started offering soft light perfect for capturing those smooth circular shapes. The last time I was there I was immediately so impressed that I started shooting at the first quarry not being aware that I only saw and explored 1/5th of the whole place. When I got to the spot it all looked too perfect to be true but after half an hour looking for the compositions the midday sun started to dry the clouds up and shine through the thick crochets. That made me a bit nervous but it also encouraged me to explore even further which made me leave with two great shots! This is again a bit longe video where I talk about many things from my equipment, reciprocity failure, how I visualise things in nature, darkroom development...so enjoy watching :)
