LOST in TOKYO "Itabashi-Ku" | Walking Travel Japan

Welcome to Lost in Tokyo where we walk around areas of Tokyo showing you places of interest and waking around without a clue.
Today we are starting at Shin-Itabashi station in Itabashi-Ku which is a special ward located in Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. In the Edo period, the Nakasendō crossed the nearby Shimo Itabashi area as Itabashi was one of the Four Edo Post Towns, and travelers first lodged there after leaving the shogunal capital. Exploring this central north Tokyo area should be fun as we head over to the Sugamo station area traveling along Old Nakasendo into Sugamo-Jizu Dori.
