Rafer "Skip to my Lou" Alston during his time in college formed arguably the best backcourt in college basketball with Chris Herren at Fresno State for coach Jerry Tarkanian. Herren stated in an interview with VladTV that Alston possessed the best work ethic of any player he was around during his playing days. Alston was the best player on the court this game and would finish with 23 points and 6 assists; I'm unsure of Herren's stat line but he also had a good game.
