Discovering Southern California’s Best Kept Off-Road Secret

High up in the San Bernardino Mountains, just east of Big Bear, California, lies a hidden gem of a trail. Heartbreak Ridge, rated a solid 6 out of 10, it offers breathtaking scenery and fun, challenging obstacles that test even seasoned drivers. Because it's not one of the well-known Jeep Badge of Honor trails in the area, it's often overlooked and a trail that you’ll rarely encounter other off-roaders, making this one of my favorite trails to explore. Today, we’re hitting Heartbreak Ridge for the first time in years, and it's my wife's inaugural run on this trail. We're set for an exciting journey through stunning landscapes and rugged terrain. Along the way, I’ll also share the latest updates to Doc, my 2023 Gladiator. So, get ready for an adventure that promises to be both thrilling and picturesque.
