Helene aftermath: NC Board of Elections holds emergency meeting

With fewer than 40 days until the election, officials in North Carolina are also keeping an eye on storm recovery efforts. At an emergency meeting Monday, the North Carolina State Board of Elections discussed the impacts of the storm, launched a new website to help voters, and pushed back a scheduled meeting about absentee ballots.
