This week on the farm our baby meat chickens arrived in the mail! The kids and I picked them up from the Post Office and we got them all set up in the chicken tractors ready to grow. They will grow for the next 8 weeks as we continue to move them throughout the yard- and then we will process them and stock our freezer with chicken for the year.

I whipped up a from scratch banana pudding and decided to use some of our farm fresh cream to make a whipped topping! Such a simple recipe that is so lovely to enjoy all spring and summer months when you want something sweet but not too heavy on your belly.
