There is famous saying Karma will follow you , Whatever we do good , bad or ugly we get the result as pleasant or bad incident in our Life it's called Karma. This story begin when the Lord of Devatas Indra get feared from the penance of Brahma bhakt "Dura" , Lord Indira sent his Apsaras to divert the attention of Brahma bhakt Dura. After years of trying when they were not successful Lord Indira which His Guru Brhaspati appeared in the place where Dura was sitting in deep penance. Lord Indira called Dura with his name several times but the Dura was in deep state of Penance Ok Lord Brahma. So he did not give any response to Indira shout , this make Indara even Angry , He warned the Dura to open his eyes and stop the penance seeing no response from Dura Devraj Indira beheaded the Dura.

Guru Brhaspati was shocked to see what Indira has did. He advised Indira that he did a great sin and Killing a Brahmin who was in deep state of penance of Lord Brahma will result as a Brahma Hatya dhos to Indira.

After realizing that he has done unacceptable sin by killing a Brahmin who was in deep state of Pinnace Indira apologized to his Guru and ask him to save him from this Brahma Hatya dosa. Guru Brahspati advised him to Go to Mount Kailash to request Lord Shiva to forgive the Indira for such heinous crime. Only Lord Shiva can help India to get escape from this situation.
