Taking on an abandoned allotment! Where to start on a derelict plot?

Part of the channels new series, we take.on an derelict allotment... lots of weed, mess and damage, and plenty of things to work on. In this first episode, we take a look at the space... work out some of the immediate jobs and measure out the plot for future plans... I give a tour of the whole.plot the garden, ect, and we get to work on a small bed weeding, digging it over and adding plenty of well rotted manure.

Follow this series as we learn how to maintain after restoring a once great allotment plot, grow produce we regularly eat, and hopefully become more self-sufficient. As a prepper, being more self-sufficient is a big part of my future plans, and I hope this is a big step forward in this goal.
