A few days back in Chennai P Dilibabu, a resident of Mumbai, bought a packet of Sunfeast biscuits, and when the biscuits were counted, there were only 15 biscuits instead of 16, i.e. 1 biscuit was less. When he checked the remaining packets, there was 1 biscuit less in all of them. After this, he complained against the company in the consumer court that ITC packs 50 lakh packets of biscuits in a day, and the price of one biscuit is 0.75 paise, hence ITC is defrauding Rs 29 lakh every day. ! Responding to this allegation, ITC said in the court that, we sell biscuits according to weight, biscuits should not be counted! But this bet of ITC backfired on them, because the weight of the biscuit packet was written as 76 grams, and on weighing, the weight of that packet was found to be only 74 grams. Then what was left! Court orders Sunfeast's mother company ITC to pay compensation of Rs 1 lakh to P Dilibabu
