Please SUBSCRIBE to help keep this Channel Alive. Date: 15.02.2016 - Position: 63° 56’ S, 061° 38’ W - Wind: wind from NE, Force 6 Weather: light snow - Air Temperature: 0°C. An early morning ashore at Cuverville Island. Our last landing in Antarctica before heading back across Drake Passage. Bad weather was forecast for Drake Passage, so an early visit was the only option. A large colony of Gentoo Penguins with chicks at verious ages on shore, with Skuas looking to predate any weakness.
