Here it is! The Truck Camper Build Series. Many of you have been excited about it and rightfully so. We discuss camper structure, weight, truck payload, towing and how you will use the camper in the future, we walk through and tour several truck camper builds in the manufacturing process and just have an open conversation about building these campers here in Alaska. This is hard information to get from professionals in the space.

There is no reason for the behind the scenes details and mindset of camper manufacturing should not be shared with the folks who are the ones spending their money on the builds. There is also no reason folks can't do their own DIY truck camper build. In this series we will open up and discuss what it takes to build a truly off grid and four seasons camper. It starts with the structure but we will cover electrical systems and sizing, batteries, solar systems, plumbing, insulation, gas, heat, appliances, budgets, what is worth spending money and what is not, what features do you want over the 10-year curve, is resale value important to you, exterior sheeting methods, etc.

We are not going to show you how to use each tool and what length you should cut each board. This is not a hand holding series. It is a higher level discussion and revelation on how to approach your build with intelligence and effective planning.

We hope you enjoy this build series whether you are doing your own DIY truck camper build or just looking to have more general education on campers or just want to improve your knowledge as a prospective camper buyer. Knowing the backend systems and understanding what manufacturers have on their minds when they building your campers is important. Its your money that is getting spent. You should know what you're spending it on.
