Dawn and Adam's Christchurch Priory wedding was a beautiful day. We started at the Captain's Club in Christchurch where we were due to meet Adam and the groomsmen, but they were running late so we moved to the Boathouse cafe where they were meeting for a few drinks beforehand. From there it was to the Priory where the groomsmen entertained themselves by chatting up the vergers, and then Dawn and her Dad, Dave, arrived by Rolls-Royce. The ceremony was a bit of a challenge to shoot because the distances in the Priory are longer than most other venues, so telephoto lenses were the order of the day. After the ceremony we stopped outside the Priory and had a few group photos (in between the deafening peals of the Priory bells) and then took Dawn and Adam on a stroll around the Priory grounds and down to Christchurch Quay for their portraits. From the Priory we made our way to a farm outside Crown where a huge marquee was waiting for the reception party, with a terrific best man's speech and some wild and crazy dancing involving a number of tambourines!
