Prepare to be entertained and inspired! With a witty and humble demeanor, Pradip Kurbah is a high school dropout who has achieved incredible success in the Meghalaya storytelling industry, earning National Awards and becoming a pioneering filmmaker. He tells captivating tales exclusively in Khasi.

Kurbah's passion for filmmaking was ignited by his father, and he made his first film, Ka Mon Ba Jwat, in his early 20s. This Khasi feature film became the talk of the town, and he went on to create iconic Khasi music videos such as Dur Bhabriew, cementing his status as a force to be reckoned within the industry. As a jury member in several film festivals in India and abroad, Kurbah's films have travelled to over 25 countries worldwide, winning accolades such as the Kim Ji-seok award at the 24th Busan International film festival.

Despite lacking a degree, Kurbah's determination to create a film industry in Meghalaya led him to learn the tricks of the trade and become an impactful filmmaker. His upcoming film, "Ha Lyngkha Bneng," is sure to be another hit.
