Galen Deery & The Reason Why | WXPN Songwriting challenge 2024 | "Top Down Corvette"

Hey guys! So today, we tried a couple times to write a song with the prompt of SUMMERTIME from the WXPN Song writing contest. Two different tries failed us but we landed on this one and really dug it. (third time is a charm) The vibes are so sweet and genuine for the good energy and nostalgia of summers past and summers to come.

We wrote, recorded, and filmed this between 8pm and 2am.
Im uploaded to YouTube at 3am.

We wish our lead guitarist Will Coccia could've come too, but I guess you'll have to come see us live to get the full experience. We will definitely be including this song in our live sets in the future.
