This impacted all major exporters, except one: Reliance. According to a report by Al Jazeera, Reliance has quickly become the country’s second-largest wheat exporter in the period after the ban.

Reliance has not only increased its exports, but also has amped up its domestic produce as it buys huge quantities of wheat from farmers to sell under their private label, Reliance Retail, which has approximately 15,000 shops in India.
