The great musician Ustad Jhande Khan's real name was Mian Ghulam Mustafa. He belonged to Kotli Okhlan, a village in Jammu. After the end of stage and theatre, Ustad Jhande Khan turned his attention to film music and more than thirty films like Devi Deviani in 1931, Radha Rani in 1932, Veer Babruvan in 1934, Prabhuka Pyaar in 1936 and Emperor Akbar in 1943.
