In this video Gary explains and shows you how to build an external pump cloning machine. Hopefully this at least sparks some ideas for your own creation. Running the pump externally helps keep the water much cooler in a clone machine and avoids problems like roots getting into the pump. This is a lot of drilling so please be safe while drilling and take your time. This has worked great in our 13 gallon Ez-Stor buckets due to the rim around the bucket but it does not work in the 8 gallon size buckets. We offer DIY parts kits for this and already built machines. Tools needed:
1-1/4 inch hole saw
1/4 inch drill bit
deburr tool or sharp knife
Measuring tape
silver marker
tubing cutter or heavy duty scissors
