Welcome to a sky where there are no men...which is an odd thing to say. In this gameplay video we take our first look at no mans sky one year after its initial release and subsequent backlash. We try out the permadeath mode added in the update to see can we actually make it into space in this space exploration game (not quite sim tho despite how much it wants to be). We do still need to look at the foundation and the path finder updates which added building and rovers to the game.

The Atlas Rises DLC add's an overhauled central storyline, portals, a new alien race, a new procedural mission system, Low level flight, trade improvements, system economies, joint exploration, HDR Lighting and more.

The difficulty makes it really enjoyable, and you really feel the struggle. I had to craft power gel and shielding shards on the go since my star ship (wish it was the best star ship after this) was 10 minutes walk away. Deadly radiation and horrific cold made these procedural generated planets very hostile and it really felt like i was struggling to survive on this alien planet.

We had to also rely on zinc to fuel our hazard environment suit since it had no upgrades at all. We also got attacked by sentinels ( no way to get no more of them unfortunately) and without a bolt caster we very nearly loose the game just before we complete our mission. We also encounter a vykeen (or vy'keen) but could not understand his language since we could not learn all of the words.

There are also mods installed in this video including the fast actions mod so i don't have to hold the select button in the menus and a mod which makes space black and add's nebula!
