Dr. Christopher Booth is a Medical Oncologist and Health Services Researcher. He serves as a Professor in the Departments of Oncology and Public Health Sciences and holds the prestigious Canada Research Chair in Population Cancer Care. In his clinical practice, Dr. Booth specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.

Dr. Booth’s research focuses on improving access, quality, and value in cancer care both within Canada and globally. Early in his career, he was recognized with the inaugural Cancer Care Ontario Chair in Health Services Research. In 2021, he was appointed Director of the Division of Cancer Care and Epidemiology at the Queen’s Cancer Research Institute. Dr. Booth has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals, including Nature, JAMA, BMJ, Lancet Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Oncology, and JAMA Internal Medicine. His work continues to shape the future of cancer care through evidence-based insights and a commitment to health equity.
