Art ensemble of Chicago found a home in Paris because their vison for jazz music reached beyond most imaginations. However, they do have a great place in jazz music history and wow did they deserve a seat at #70 on the top 100 jazz albums that shook the world.
Join us on this episode as we look into the “Fanfare for the Warriors”. Roscoe Mitchell, Joseph Jarman, Lester Bowie, Muhal Richard Abrams, Malachi Favors, and Famoudou Don Moye made up the list of artists on this album and a majority of the 52 plus albums recorded.
