Refreshed for Baselworld 2017, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 220.12.41.21.06.001 is the most versatile Seamaster model in Omega's sprawling dive watch/aquatic sports watch family. Now 41mm in stainless steel, the Aqua Terra is model associated with English actor and Omega ambassador Eddie Redmayne. For hardcore watch collectors, the Aqua Terra offers value, impressive watchmaking technology, and immense capability.

The 2017 revision of the Seamaster Aqua Terra reprofiled the case to remove crown guards, and standard size 41.5mm case became a 41mm case. The Aqua Terra remains water resistant to 150 meters thanks to a robust screwed-in caseback and screw down crown. A moulded blue rubber strap with contrasting white stitch and stainless steel deployant clasp completes the exterior hardware.

Omega's Aqua Terra dial embraces ceramic in its latest iteration. The zirconium oxide base of this Seamaster dial has been coated with a dark chrome surface for dramatic effect. Omega's prior "Teak Deck" concept has been revised to run horizontally instead of the prior iteration's vertical alignment. The watch continues to employ applied hour indices, hands with matching metallic blue color, and super luminova for nighttime reading of the time. Finally, the date window has been relocated from 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the service of better dial balance.

An Omega Master Chronometer Co-Axial calibers 8900 is an automatic Swiss mechanical movement that is exclusive to the Omega brand. It meets and exceeds COSC Swiss chronometer standards thanks to Omega's new "METAS" 8-step test of the fully assembled watch. A 60-hour power reserve, twin mainspring barrels, and a George Daniels-inspired Co-Axial escapement ensure both long endurance and superior precision. The Omega Si14 silicon hairspring ensures antimagnetic resistance beyond 15,000 Gauss (1.5+ Tesla).
