Understanding Mise-en-scene (in FILM & life)

Mise-en-scene, an important part of filmmaking (and theatre) that can reveal a lot about the characters. Location, props, lighting, blocking, set design, costume, hair & make up, it's all part of mise-en-scene.

The environments we surround ourselves in can tell us a lot about both who we are, and the person we want others to believe we are.
