Is SEO Actually Dying? (Serious)

This is perhaps the most common question I get when it comes to SEO - Will AI destroy this industry, just as it is potentially going to disrupt so many other industries.

Well, it already has disrupted it - but simply making the barrier to entry much lower. However, in terms of whether or not AI search is going to completely take over something like Google, I would say that not for a long time.

Not only that, but Google has been using AI for years, to be honest the thing that is most likely to happen is that something like SGE (search generative experience) is going to HELP small businesses, rather than hinder them
