About this recording:
While preparing for the Polars 10th anniversary tour we had the idea of re releasing the Polars album remastered + bonus material. Unfortunately there was no extra material from the Polars days, no unreleased, or unfinished or even live recordings.
From out of nowhere Bart pulled out this unfinished version of "I`m Broken" with only rhythm section. no vocals and no solo. This recording is from the Drawing Circles sessions (Cool, right? it has the same guitar tone and drum sound!) it just didn`t make the album.
I was really thrilled about "finishing" this version but with a great deal of mixed feelings. Ya know....Pantera is one of those bands that I really don`t wanna hear covers of....you can`t improve it, the original is so perfect! there`s really nothing to add! (But.....we needed that bonus track)
This solo is my paying respect to Dime! I hope he doens`t mind the few noodles I shoved in between. I think Daniel did a magnificent job btw!
