Olu Jacobs Speaks at AMVCA

The exquisite Eko Hotel and Suites was lit up on Friday evening with an array of superstars who flew in from all parts of Africa for the most glamorous and biggest awards event ever on the continent, the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

Not only were the nominees present at a dinner held in their honour, the giant of African film industry, Nollywood, stood still to appreciate AfricaMagic's efforts at endorsing Africa-made talents.

Although not nominated for any awards, Nollywood veterans such as Olu Jacobs, Joke Silver, and Liz Ameye (nee Benson) graced the event to show their support for the industry they helped build and the young actors they have in many ways mentored.
