Описание к видео 91. Easy, Beautiful, Two-Fabric Yo Yos for Holiday Trees, Table Toppers, and more - Part 1

Stephanie at Hightower Stitching shares two things: how to make a two-tone yo yo (it just takes two quick lines of stitching and your ready to make your new yo yo) for a project and a review of hand sewing a yo yo.

Materials:
Circles - 2 (one dark, one light, 4.5 diameter)
Thread, needle, sewing machine (optional)

Steps:
1. Place a dark and a light circle right sides facing.
2. Fold the facing pairs in half and press.
3. Open, stitch a scant 1/3 in on each side of the fold; then, cut the center fold. (If using the sewing machine for this part, change stitch length to 2.3)
Open new circles and press seam in direction it is tending to lean. (This is a great part to chain stitch on the sewing machine.)
4. Sew as for any yo yo.

Door Decoration:
1. 15 yo yos
2. 19" x 13 1/2" front fabric, batting, back fabric
3. dowel rod, small section of chain for handing
