Now, I know I don't bring anything new to my version of this great song (written by Jerry Chesnut). How could anyone improve on George Jones? But I love this song so much I just had to record it. I love the melody, the lyrics, the sentiment: that mixture of sadness, resignation, and regret, with that dash of sarcasm. It's right up my alley.
