Kichaa - Aasarai Mahinama (Intrumental)

Aasarai Mahinama has to be one the most iconic ballad of Nepali music. This tune has been played, performed and enjoyed by generations of people.
I have always love the composition of the song. Ever since I started producing and composing music, I wanted to give it to give it my rendition. I have tried to capture and enhance the melancholy mood of the song. groovy beats accompanying the lead instruments signifies the pace that our life rolls regardless of the hardship.

Song originally speaks about agony of missing a lover during the rainy season. Aasar or Aasad is a Nepali month that indicates the start of monsoon. Song portrays a long distance relationship back in the days when communication was quite hard to maintain.
