Welcome to the Urban Survivor channel and in this video we’re going to be taking a look at a handful of the best rechargeable camping lanterns you can buy. The lanterns we’re going to be looking at in this video are the Streamlight Super Siege, the Fenix CL30R, the BLF LT1 and the LE Rechargeable and we’re going to be looking at their unique features and comparing them for max output, runtimes, weight and more.

First up we have the streamlight super siege which is one of the most durable and most water resistant lanterns you can buy. It has both white and red lighting modes, it can be used as a power bank to charge your devices and it has a maximum runtime of 14.5 days.

This is the BLF LT1 which is one of the most feature rich and best performing lanterns you can buy and it runs on 18650 batteries and it can run straight from a power bank if needed. This lantern allows you to ramp between warm and cool tints, you can ramp the output or you can use the pre configured stepped output settings. There is a whole community behind this lantern over on budgetlightforum.com and though there isn’t much from the manufacturer there’s all kinds of data on this forum about the different runtimes but from what I’ve read I expect this lantern to be able to run for over 3-4 months on it’s lowest setting so if runtime is important to you this is the best option to go for.

This is the Fenix CL30R which also runs on 18650 batteries and has a max output of 650 lumens. It has great runtimes, a cold resistant design and it can power your mobile devices if needed. Fenix is a great company to buy from and they offer 5 years of free repairs and a limited lifetime warranty on this product.

Finally we have the LE rechargeable which is the most affordable lantern here. It has a few different options for color settings along with a few different output levels. If you just want something simple to last you for a night or two this is a good option to consider. It’s also one of the most purchased rechargeable lanterns on Amazon.
