Ingredients:
Yellow potatoes
Skewers

For batter:
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup corn or potato starch
1/2 cup water
Salt
Garlic powder
Paprika

Instructions:
1- Insert a skewer into the potato.
2- Cut the potato in spiral slices with the knife at an angle and against the direction you are turning the skewered potato
3- Gently separate the potato slices until you have even gaps between the slices
4- Place them in the cold water and prepare the batter
5- Combine flour, starch and spices, add water gradually and mix well
6- Remove potatoes from water and drain excess water. Cover all over the potatoes with the batter.
7- Drain excess batter and deep fry at 350ºF (180ºC) until potatoes golden.
