Lysander and the Lovers - A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Benjamin Britten

I’m so excited to be sharing my final staged opera with Boston Consrvatory!

This rendition of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nigh’t Dream was performed April 19th with the Boston Consrvatory at the Hungtington Theatre. I was so honered to do my last performances with Boco at this Phonmenal space. These are some higlights from the show and I hope you enjoy our Steam-punk themed production!

Lysander and Hermia are in love and have vowed to marry. Thier love is forbidden, though, and they run away from Athens together. Thier plan is upended by the knavish fairy: Puck who turns Lysander’s affection to Helena, throwing thier plans into chaos. Through twists of magic sleeping potions and mstaken identities, the lover’s eventually find themselves in thier correct pairings in the end.
