Chaudhry Muhammad Siddiq (1918 - 2002), known by his nom de plume, Saqib Zeervi, was a poet, writer, and editor based in Lahore. This recording was made at a mushaira held on January 24, 1968 at 9 Main Gulberg, Lahore, the home of Idris Ahmad and Riaz Fatima Minai, in honor of the critic and writer, Majnoon Gorakhpuri. It was conduced by Khwaja Muhammad Shafi Dehlavi, and presided over by Hakeem Ahmad Shuja - a prominent playwright and political figure.

The original recording was made by Ahsan Osmani. The poet is announced by Khwaja Shafi. The poet's photograph was taken at the mushaira.
