The eyes are not just physical. They’re spiritual gateways. What you watch, what you scroll, what you dwell on—it doesn’t just pass through. It plants something.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:22, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.”

The opposite is also true—if your eyes are constantly exposed to darkness, your heart starts to dim.

But guarding your eyes isn’t just about what you avoid—it’s about what you feed them with.

Here’s what to do today:

— Audit your screen time. What are you watching that desensitizes your spirit?
— Use Scripture to recalibrate. Psalm 101:3 says, “I will set before my eyes no vile thing.” Make it your daily prayer.
— Put physical boundaries in place: screen filters, unfollow accounts, turn off autoplay. Don’t rely on willpower—set up guardrails.
— Replace what you remove. Fill your eyes with truth—read God’s Word, worship, testimonies of freedom.

Your spiritual health begins with what you let in through your eyes.
